Chartered IT Professional qualification gets a revamp

Techies to get more specialised

The British Computer Society is changing the way it assesses the Chartered IT Professional certifications.

As of Wednesday, CITP applicants will be able to choose to specialise in areas such as project management. The aim behind the shakeup is to make the qualification more in line with specific needs in business.
