Dr Carsten Pohlmann, chief neurology physician at Barmbek, explains how his job has been made much easier following the introduction of a wireless LAN.

He is now able to access digital images of various scans as well as patient records located on a central database.

    Perhaps before the NHS embark on messing around with rfids and technology they could perhaps concentrate on basic cleaning skills to reduce the kill rate from mrsa.

    Unless intel have a product to do this wirelessly ...
