What do I need to play the video?

You will need to have Windows Media Player installed on your computer in order to watch silicon.com's video content. If you are experiencing difficulties accessing a video the please contact us directly at enquiries@silicon.com

Downloads/video streaming are not permitted by my company's firewall.

You might be able to configure your player to view our videos using http. This will work through most firewalls. You can do this by going to options - preferences - transport - RTSP settings and selecting use http only. It should also be possible to do this with earlier players. You will also need to check that the values under preferences - proxy are correct. This depends on your company's network set-up.
