NB: High-tech beer mats

A big 'cheers' to the ingenious students who have developed a high-tech intelligent beermat that tells the bartender when your glass is empty using hidden sensors. The mat detects the weight of the drink above it and sends a signal to the bar when its time for a refill. The BBC has the full story here.
