Today Vint Cerf and Bob Kahn, creators of TCP/IP, will be in good company as they receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest honour the US government gives to civilians. Other 2005 recipients include Muhammad Ali, Aretha Franklin and General Richard B. Myers. Read more on the BBC.
