
silicon.com was invited to visit Google at its "Googleplex" offices in London yesterday. "You can't miss it," the PR said. "The Googleplex is a big glass building." It was a bit surprising to discover that the "Googleplex" was not a Silicon Valley-esque architectural wonder, but a regular office block it shares with Rentokill. Google occupies two floors of the six story building, and four floors are empty. Talk about a let down.
