The twin hearts of the Standford Hill digital print centre: the Xerox Nuvera 100 Digital Copier/Printer (front) and the DocuColor 5252 Digital Colour Press (back).

The Nuvero 100 is a state-of-the-art machine for producing high image quality black-and-white materials which prints up to 100 pages per minute.

The DocuColor 5252 offers the first commercial colour printing capabilities in the HM Prison Service.

The HM Prison Service chose Xerox kit because it would easily network with the Xerox machines in the service's seven existing print centres. Xerox will train prison supervisors on the equipment, who will in turn train prisoners, and will offer certification to prisoners who have attained the necessary skills.
