Flex is also used by the Department of Innovation, Universities and Schools and the Office for National Statistics.
Fujitsu will provide Cafcass with managed desktop services for 2,000 users across 100 offices. There will be a hardware and software refresh after four years.
In a statement, Cafcass corporate director Lamorna Wooderson said: "Improvements in the security and protection of data were a top priority for us - as a department which looks after the interests of children this is vital. Through Flex our staff will be able to work more effectively and efficiently whilst working remotely but with the confidence that sensitive data will not be compromised."
