Nottingham Trent head of IT David Swayne is overseeing a multimillion pound project to link up two listed buildings and create a 21st century hub for the university.

As the foundations are being laid for the glass atrium linking the two buildings, so are the cables that will support the technology demanded by the next generation of students that the university hopes to attract in the coming years.
