Too High Too Low

The leading venture capitalist on the 2007 list, Moritz has been involved in technology investment and was influential when Sequoia Capital invested in Yahoo way back in 1995, before the potential of the internet was fully appreciated.

In 1999 he was again a key part of the team that invested in Google. Since then Moritz has been crucial to bringing capital to what reads like a who's who of tech companies. Sequoia has invested in YouTube, PayPal, nVidia, Apple and Cisco, among others.

He has also been influential in Sequoia investing in China, India and Israel.

So as someone who has played an important role in the funding of some of the biggest tech success stories of the past decade, Moritz is held in high esteem and continues to set the agenda in tech venture capitalism.
