It's been quite a fall in the Agenda Setters rankings for Mark Zuckerberg, who last year topped the list for making social networking appealing to the masses.

This time around, the Facebook founder squeaks in at 47 amid sentiment in the Agenda Setters panel that his moment has passed.

At 24-years-old, Zuckerberg continues to represent tech's 'next generation' of connected users and Facebook remains "the most useful social network", according to one panellist.

But a major site revamp has brought protest from users - and in some parts of the world the social network has seen a decline in member growth.

Shortly after Zuckerberg topped the 2007 Agenda Setters list, Microsoft bought a stake in Facebook that valued the company at $15bn.

But the panel agreed it's not just about numbers. While Zuckerberg remains on the Agenda Setters list, his influence is on the wane.
