No. 45 Kevin Rollins, CEO, Dell
Last year's position: Not placed
Why? Ruling the PC roost
Kevin Rollins is a new entry on the Agenda Setters, replacing the company's founder and former CEO Michael Dell (who was number 40 last year).
It's not been an easy year for Dell with financial results falling short of expectations and the recall of 4.1 million laptop batteries over fears they can overheat and explode.
The PC maker - formerly under its founder and now under Rollins - has continued to slide down the Agenda Setters rankings over the years but still makes it this time around because of the sheer scale of the company, its influence on the systems builder space and its ability to remain dominant in the PC market.
But will Dell continue to grow and fight off the threat from China? If anyone can overcome the obstacles and lead the company onto the next stage, Rollins can.
Take a walk down memory lane - and find out who made the Agenda Setters poll over the years:
"Ray Ozzie is a radical change force for Microsoft. He is moving them in a very different direction."
--Richard Sykes, Agenda Setters panellist
"My observation is that [kids today] are far more networked and open than any other generation we have ever seen."
--Peter Cochrane, Agenda Setters panellist
