No. 15 Jonathan Ive, VP, industrial design, Apple
Last year's position: 32
Why? Inventing that Apple look
Jonathan Ive is the man behind the visual identity - white headphones, sleek laptops - that makes Apple products so coveted and instantly identifiable.
It's his ability to create what one Agenda Setters panellist called "sexy technology" that wins him a prominent spot on the list for the third year in a row. His influence continues to be felt through new products - such as the iPod Nano, which gives consumers the choice to change their allegiance from white to black.
Even more so, he has woken up the technology industry to the fact that design matters - and has given other hardware makers a high standard to reach in terms of both looks and ease of use.
Take a walk down memory lane - and find out who made the Agenda Setters poll over the years:
"Ray Ozzie is a radical change force for Microsoft. He is moving them in a very different direction."
--Richard Sykes, Agenda Setters panellist
"My observation is that [kids today] are far more networked and open than any other generation we have ever seen."
--Peter Cochrane, Agenda Setters panellist
