No. 13 Meg Whitman, CEO, eBay
Last year's position: 26
Why? Extending eBay's reach
After slipping down the Agenda Setters list to number 26 last year, Meg Whitman has made a comeback.
One of Whitman's key achievements this year has been to broker a deal with Google in which the two companies will develop 'click to call' ads that use VoIP to connect consumers to advertisers - a breakthrough in online advertising.
Whitman has also taken a lead in the net neutrality debate, lobbying against the telcos who want to create a two-tier internet, and she is one of 12 of the world's leading business people - along with Bill Gates - who advise the UK government on globalisation.
On top of this, eBay continues to be one of the web's great successes and the means for millions to make a living via online trading - more proof Whitman is a major influencer in the online world who shows no signs of slowing down.
Take a walk down memory lane - and find out who made the Agenda Setters poll over the years:

"My observation is that [kids today] are far more networked and open than any other generation we have ever seen."
--Peter Cochrane, Agenda Setters panellist
