Dave Lynch is responsible for the technology function at Newcastle-based bus, rail, car parking and aviation transport services group Go-Ahead.
Lynch, who took up the Go-Ahead role in 2004, is a UK transport expert and delivers the IT to support real-time information, enhanced ticketing and ecommerce channels.
Through his work with the mobile operator Orange's UK customer advisory council Lynch steers technical development around the customer experience. He also acts as an advisor to the aviation industry through his board position with a key software company in that market.
Lynch initially started working with Go-Ahead in 2000 as a consultant, during which time he also created two start-up businesses developing technology for the transport industry and local councils.
Before that he was the MD of Meridian Information Systems, which was acquired by Sema Group in 1998.
