Pascal Emile

Name: Pascal Emile

Title: Global CIO

Position: Top 50

Company: Dresdner Kleinwort

Pascal Emile was appointed global CIO for investment bank Dresdner Kleinwort in April 2007.

In this role he has promoted global platforms and processes and internal data exchange as part of an executive agenda based on the two themes of accelerating change and focusing on growth.

He started his career at Banque Internationale de Placement (BIP) as a fixed income quantitative developer in Paris. After BIP was acquired by Dresdner Bank, he joined the business management group to work on a complete re-engineering of the bank's infrastructure to facilitate the implementation of a new strategic direction. He later became responsible for equity derivatives technology.

Emile then relocated to London in January 2000 working with Dresdner's investment banking division and took on a number of senior positions within IT, including global responsibilities for equity derivatives, risk management, cross-asset products management and credit derivatives.

He was also instrumental in rationalising the bank's market risk infrastructure, as well as promoting a common technology platform supporting derivatives' products trading activities.

Emile has a degree in computer science engineering obtained in 1992 at Universite de Technologie de Compiegne in France.
