As group CIO Rod Angwin is responsible for IT across Wolseley Group.

He is in charge of delivering the overall business change programme and building the core infrastructure of process and technology. His work plays a vital role in supporting the FTSE100 heating and plumbing supplies company's evolving business model.

Angwin started his career in 1981 as a trainee with BT. Since that time he has spent 10 years in various roles with Information Services International, part of Mars, and two years with software house JBA, before moving into the world of retail and wholesale distribution. In 1995, he joined Safeway as director of business services moving across to director of business IT development.

More recently he worked for Meyer International, now part of St Gobain, as group IT director before moving to DIY retail chain B&Q in the same role.
