Angela Morrison CIO50 2009

Angela Morrison is IT director for Sainsbury's, and since joining four years ago she has in-sourced the division from Accenture and is now working on developing a fully functional internal IT organisation.

Prior to working for Sainsbury's, Morrison spent 10 years working for ASDA/Wal-Mart where she had a number of roles including IT director, creating and running ASDA’s online business, and, latterly, European Strategy for Wal-Mart.

Morrison started her career as a consultant working in both the private and public sector, where she focused on business analysis and project management.

Morrison is to leave her post as IT director at Sainsbury's this summer.
