Marc Earl has 26 years of experience in the financial industry and as CIO of Deutsche Bank has responsibility for business services and finance technology across the organisation.

Since taking on the role Earl has worked on developing new technology platforms, as well as creating a cross-bank production management division. He is also leading efforts to improve stability and availability of technology across the business.

Earl works with the global business services and bank finance divisions to make sure technology put in place is as efficient as possible in order to keep running costs down. In addition this technology needs to be easily expanded to cope with the ever-increasing volume of financial transactions across the organisation.

Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Earl held numerous roles including programme and project manager for a major financial software house, head of capital markets at BNP Paribas, and CEO of a software testing and quality assurance consultancy.
