Richard Cross CIO50 2009

Richard Cross, group technology director at ITV, began his career as a consultant working for the likes of Accenture and Ernst & Young, advising on IT and business transformation.

Cross went on to hold the role of European CIO at Exel Logistics and the post of VP within News Corporation.

After working for a digital TV technology company within the media giant, Cross took another position in the television industry, joining Carlton Communications as CTO in 2002.

From there, he took up his current group technology director role in 2004 where he now has responsibility for all IT, engineering, transmission and media technology.
