Binion's Horseshoe: It's an image of Las Vegas we're all familiar with but the idea of Sin City's casinos throbbing with Rat Packers, crooners, gangsters and molls is being superseded by a 21st century crowd of visiting conference goers who easily outnumber the pure pleasure-seekers at certain times of the year.

Binion's Horseshoe, home to the World Series of Poker, is now owned by Harrah's Entertainment whose CIO spoke to silicon.com about the challenges he faces in his job.
