Earlier this month silicon.com's Steve Ranger visited Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore to catch up first-hand on developments in the Indian technology industry. These are some of the images from the first leg of the trip - Mumbai and Hyderabad.

The titles on sale in the bookshop at the brand new domestic terminal at Mumbai airport are a good indication on the types of travellers they have coming through here - executives looking to exploit the offshore outsourcing phenomenon and the booming Indian market.
