More than three-quarters of IT budgets of large organisations are swallowed by the 'keeping the lights' on operational and maintenance costs, according to the research whitepaper Driving Business Value from IT.
In this video research author Jonathan Steel, CEO of the Bathwick Group, dives deeper into the findings, which also reveal most companies are seeing increases in so-called 'elective spend' that can be used for innovation and driving more value out of information systems.
