A useful resource if ever we saw one...

The Grand Café - The Royal Exchange, EC3
The smart and impressive atrium of The Royal Exchange is one big BT Openzone presenting a couple of choices for settling down for a drink with your laptop in more swanky surrounds than almost, if not all of London's other bars and pubs.
As the name suggests, the central bar looks very much like a continental grand café and the airy room feels like something of an oasis of calm away from the hustle and bustle of the enormous rat runs of Bank station, which is literally beneath your feet. (map)
It's location between Lombard Street and Threadneedle Street means you really are in the heart of the City.
We are looking to grow this list into a more comprehensive resource and we welcome your feedback. If you know of a great pub with a good wi-fi connection, drop us an email at editorial@silicon.com.
