The Henry Addington, 20-28 MacKenzie Walk, Canary Wharf, E14 4PH
Named after the 19th century Prime Minister, the Henry Addington has none of the history of its namesake being part of the stunning and ultra modern Canary Wharf development which continues to grow at a staggering rate. The whole estate offers wireless internet access courtesy of The Cloud and if you're looking to log on then the bars and restaurants around the waterfront provide about as conducive a surrounding as you could wish for during the day.
This is one of the Nicholson's chain of pubs and a decent enough – if entirely unexceptional - place to get a quick pint, or a bite to eat from its fairly standard menu, while you check emails between meetings. It gets very busy in the evening. (map)
