International travel is increasingly becoming a part of the job for people working in IT, with jet set techies travelling around the world on work-related business.
Two out of five (38 per cent) tech professionals travel abroad with their work at least four times per year, with many travelling much more often, according to the latest silicon.com reader poll.

Nearly a quarter (24 per cent) of respondents said they travel internationally four to 10 times per year as part of their job.
Another 14 per cent said they travel between 11 and 20 times per year, with a particularly jet lagged eight per cent saying they work abroad more than 20 times over the course of 12 months.
But not everyone is as familiar with the airport departure lounge, as a significant proportion (24 per cent) said they never get to travel abroad for work.
Meanwhile nine per cent said they only have to travel internationally for business once per year, with another 21 per cent travelling two to three times per year.
