
BT has bought online retailer, dabs.com, going "into battle with Dixons in cyberspace", writes The Independent. BT's CEO is quoted as saying the buy would boost its "online power" to sell IT products and offer "great services". Reuters cites "a source close to the telecoms firm" who values the deal at around £30m.
