The stock options backdating scandal which has embroiled a raft of Silicon Valley companies gave Apple a bit of a fright before Christmas - causing Cupertino shares to dip. But it didn't take the company long to exonerate its CEO, Steve Jobs, prompting BusinessWeek to wonder whether Jobs is "untouchable". The San Jose Mercury News, meanwhile, looks into potential issues with Apple's special investigation committee.
