
A leading recruitment company has warned that profiles on social networking sites such as Facebook and MySpace could be detrimental to users' careers, The Times reports. The research found one in five employers admit to using social networking sites to find information on candidates. A quarter of those questioned said they decided not to employ someone based on what they found online.
