Hotel chain Travelodge has relaunched its website after a £1m revamp.
Alongside information about Travelodge hotels, the site provides surfers with information about attractions and events within the area they are researching and the opportunity to purchase tickets to shows, attractions and exhibitions in the area.
It is also using Google maps to help customers plan their journey and search for hotels using the maps.

The company said the room-booking process has also been reduced by 50 per cent - down from 10 steps to five - and customers are able to order breakfast, dinner and wi-fi connectivity at the point of booking their room online.
The move is designed to differentiate the chain from other budget hotel rivals. Travelodge COO Guy Parsons said more than 87 per cent of the hotel's room bookings are conducted online and this investment will help attract new consumers and offer existing customers a "bespoke service".
