Contactless payments are gradually becoming a reality, mainly through plastic cards. This device takes it one step further. The SmartTransaction watch has a port for a SIM-sized smart card that acts as a payment card.
It is an approved MasterCard PayPass device and can be used with a wave-and-pay terminal to make purchases. The card and watch are both supplied by Altair Financial Services.
