Every little helps the retail push

Tesco plans to double the number of its in-store phone shops to around 100 by next March, it said on Sunday, stepping up competition to market leader Carphone Warehouse.
The supermarket group said it would rebrand the telecoms centres as "Phone Shop" as part of its push into retail services.
Last July, as it bought Royal Bank of Scotland out of a financial services joint venture, Tesco set a goal of achieving annual profits of £1bn from retail services such as banking and telecoms.
The group said last month it planned to open bank branches in 30 of its stores by the end of 2009.
Tesco also said on Sunday it would start testing its Clubcard loyalty programme in Poland, Slovakia, Thailand and Turkey.
The group is expected to announce on Tuesday record annual profits of more than £3bn.
