Wireless technology is starting to appear in lots of different places and to be used in lots of unexpected applications. From using your mobile phone on a plane to surfing the net while you down a pint in the pub, wireless is revolutionising the way we do things.

With smart phones capable of surfing the internet and receiving emails - as well as actually serving as the old dog and bone - and wi-fi networks spreading across cities like wildfire, we are often no more than a second away from accessing some kind of information or communication network through the ether.
