X is for XDA

XDA is what O2 calls its own-brand smart phones. They are essentially PDAs that can also be used as mobile phones.

The devices are made by Taiwanese company HTC which then sells them to various mobile network operators. Orange also uses HTC products and re-brands them as the SPV line of smart phones.
