Comment Windows XP is pretty good. You say in your story that it's likely software companies will drop support for XP in 2011/12 but this will only happen if the majority of people upgraded. XP is a pretty good OS.

Comment Just because Microsoft says that Vista purchases are increasing, companies like ourselves with volume licencing agreements are buying Vista OEM licences with new machines, but are downgrading these to XP - so these figures don't mean that much.
