Agere sues Intersil over Wi-Fi patents

News Wi-Fi chipmaker Agere Systems has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against rival Intersil, the company said on Friday. Intersil CEO Rich Beyer denied Agere Systems' allegations, calling them "wholly without merit". [21 Oct 2002]
