In brief: Axil suffers funding crisis

NEWS Axil Computer is to have its funding removed by parent company Hyundai. The firm may be forced to close as a result, unless replacement funding can be found. Axil recently signed a deal with Data General and Hewlett-Packard - known as the Crossbar Coalition - in which they were to push multiprocessor technology for servers. Hyundai owns 80 per cent of Axil.
