NEWS Oracle is to rent its server products over the Internet. The service, called Oracle Business Online, is yet to launch, but company chairman, Larry Ellison, described it to US reporters earlier this week. Ellison explained that customers will be able to rent out server storage for their business systems via Oracle's Web site. Alternatively, they could lease the company's server software. Oracle will take full responsibility for managing the data. Ellison also unveiled Oracle's latest server product, Oracle Application Server 4.0.
