NEWS Network Computing Devices (NCD) is to buy Tektronix's Network Displays business unit. The deal will see NCD incorporate the division - which produces Windows-based terminals, network computers and thin client hardware and software - by the end of the year. NCD chief executive, Robert Gilbertson, is expected to ask most of the division's 130 employees to join NCD after the deal has been completed.
