NEWS Dell Computer is aiming to conduct half of its overall sales on the Web within the next couple of years. CEO, Michael Dell told an audience at the Goldman Sachs Technology Investment Seminar in New York yesterday that 20 per cent of the 100 million visitors the Dell Web site gets each year go to its online computer store. Selling a total of $10m worth of products each day, the direct PC vendor believes there is room for expansion in online sales. Dell noted that customers are looking to buy other products on the Internet such as printers, and software and services.
