Linux users get free security guide

NEWS The first official security guide for Linux users and administrators has been released on the Web. The 120 page document offers information, examples and resources to help make the operating system more secure. It covers issues such as shadow passwords, user and system administration, virtual private networking and specific security information for network services' Sendmail, Apache and Wu-FTPD. The Linux Administrators Security Guide is freely available in an adobe document format and can be downloaded from https://www.seifried.org/lasg/
