NEWS Iomega is to launch an assault on the optical storage market, having announced a new product which addresses the storage needs of PC users in the corporate environment. The ZipCD drive can store up to 650MB of data, and will be released by the company's newly-formed Optical Division - based in Longmont, Colorado - later this year. The enterprise services on offer include a global support centre in Dublin, a dedicated area on the Iomega Web site, and volume pricing models.
