NEWS Networking vendor, Olicom, is to include support for Linux in its ranges of Token Ring, Ethernet and ATM network interface cards. First to receive Linux driver support will be Olicom's Rapid Fire and Token Ring adapters. Linux-friendly Ethernet cards will be available within the next couple of months, while ATM cards supporting the open source operating system will arrive early next year. The firm said it expects Linux to become increasingly important to network installations.
