Synstar profits up £5.9m on 1998 results

NEWS UK disaster recovery specialist, Synstar, has quadrupled profits in the last financial year. The company reporter profit for the year ending September 30 1999 rose to £8.1m, after deductions, up from £2.2m for the same period last year. Synstar has won a number of contracts in the last year including London Taxis, Royal Navy and Sainsbury's. It has also opened a business recovery centre in Ireland. Richar Ferre, CEO of Synstar, said the company's growth will continue into 2000 at the same rate because "more and more contracts are being signed on a longer-term basis".
