NEWS Sun Microsystems has launched a range of storage services aimed at supporting companies' ecommerce strategies. The computing giant's data and storage management service provides architecture, implementation, consolidation of storage management and disaster recovery. It claims the service is geared towards companies which experience dramatic increases in data volumes through their online activities. Rival company, EMC, is also aiming squarely at ecommerce operations with a range of enterprise products, and last week announced a multimillion dollar deal with ISP, PSINet.
