NEWS The Inland Revenue has announced the completion of a 13-month project to roll out Microsoft NT workstations across 600 locations in the UK. Outsourcing company EDS and software management company Novadigm completed the roll out of 60,000 workstations and mobile laptops as part of the government's Infrastructure 2000 (i2K) plan, on time. Inland Revenue claims the upgraded infrastructure will allow the provision of better services to support its existing business as well as the ability to respond more quickly to upcoming government initiatives.
