Linux firm gets $37m investment boost

NEWS Linux system software company, Lineo, has received $37m in investment capital. Lineo, which owns the Embedix brand and develops and sells Linux system software, said the investment will be used for product development and to raise the profile of the open source OS market. Mitsubishi, Motorola and Samsung are among the investors.
