StorageNetworks arrives in UK waters

NEWS US-based data storage specialist StorageNetworks, has launched its services in the UK. The company offers data storage in a remote location. Customers can monitor their data through a Web site and quality is guaranteed by service level agreements. John Clavin, VP of operations for StorageNetworks, sees companies increasingly opting for remotely hosted storage. He said: "Our first customer is an ASP, which signals the fact that Web-based companies are increasingly moving their data storage out of location."
