NEWS Handheld computing firm Psion is to supply Compaq with Bluetooth wireless technology. The technology will let Compaq's notebooks share data over short distances with desktops PCs, mobile phones and printers. Psion sealed a similar arrangement with Dell in May this year. US investment bank, Merrill Lynch, predicts that more than 1.7 billion devices - from mobile phones to cars - will feature Bluetooth technology by 2005.
