NEWS Tulip Computers has completed the acquisition of 2L International - a manufacturer of notebooks and communication products. Tulip is looking to re-launch itself in the mobile communication market and will be adding notebooks to its Vision Line range of PCs and servers. Neal Grayston, managing director of Tulip, said: "We've now got the company (2L International) and we're integrating their products into Tulip. The notebooks have been re- badged and are shipping now in the UK and we will push these into our existing SME, government and education markets". The modem and mobile products acquired from 2L International already hold over 40 per cent market share in Holland, which Grayston hopes will assist with Tulip's move into the mobile arena.
